Originally from Toronto, Marcus Fielding is a multi-instrumentalist and pop music educator known for his warm teaching style and deep knowledge of modern production. He studied both jazz trumpet and music tech before settling into songwriting and arrangement.

Marcus runs a high school music tech lab and teaches audio engineering and pop arrangement, with a focus on vocal harmonies and digital production. His students often describe his class as “a mixtape in the making.”

He’s also a sought-after arranger for high school choirs and youth a cappella groups. Marcus believes strongly in the democratization of music creation: “You don’t need a million-dollar studio—just a vision and a laptop.”
